One evening, while drinking one of our favorite bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon with friends, they commented on our obsession for wine. They furthermore, suggested that anyone with this level of passion for wine should be the ones producing it. Later that night, we decided to make our passion into a lifestyle. We immediately began researching and educating ourselves; through reading and engrossing ourselves in courses on viticulture, enology and visits with California wine producers, this dream is now becoming a reality. Winemaking was a drastic change from our high tech careers. It is something that requires a love for wine, distinctive taste, and a change in lifestyle. We collectively agreed we had all the right elements, and this begins our journey and the establishment of A. Faustini Wines.

Living on the East Coast, we decided to physically educate ourselves on the local vineyards and wineries. While visiting various wineries, tasting wine, it was apparent that we were ready for this venture. We wanted to produce Cabernet Sauvignon, and regardless of distance, we would find a way to source some of the best Cabernet grapes in the country (if not the world). So we traveled west to Napa Valley to fulfill our dream.

During our visit to the west coast, we found a custom crush facility where winemakers could produce their wine while sourcing grapes from some of the best vineyards that the world has to offer. Upon our next visit to Napa, we purchased our first block of grapes from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, mid-summer of 2005 and never looked back. In 2007, we have grown our production by 1000% since the onset and have continued growth planned for years to come.

Our drive and enthusiasm for winemaking allows us to lead this bi-coastal life. We travel frequently between coasts to stay on top of production and are intimately involved in the entire winemaking process. We are confident that you will recognize our dedication in every glass of wine you enjoy.

At A. Faustini Wines, we believe that wine is a living entity that evolves over time. By treating it as such, you will recognize extraordinary results. It is also our belief that great wines begin in the vineyard. Through extensive research, we source the best fruit in the world to produce our wines. Our primary focus is to produce small lot wines that not only pair well with food, but also drink beautifully alone. Wine represents a unity between family and friends. Our goal is two-fold; to create amazing wines and create memorable sensory experiences. While achieving these goals, we also plan to create a family business that will live on for generations to come.

It is a wonderful feeling to create something you love. It’s even more amazing to be able to share that creation with friends and family. We are overjoyed that we can share this feeling and passion with all of you.
